DIGITAL BILLBOARD ADVERTISING IN NIGERIA

Digital Billboard advertising in Nigeria gives you something a printed board cannot: creative you can change. SOTOE's entire Nigerian inventory is digital, which means your campaign can move with your message instead of being fixed for its full run.

Why digital screens have replaced static boards

A printed billboard commits you to one image for the whole campaign. If the message changes, the artwork is wrong, or the promotion ends early, the board stays as it was until someone physically replaces the panel. A Digital Billboard has none of that constraint — creative is sent to the screen and appears, so a campaign can be adjusted while it is running.

There is a visibility argument too. Digital screens are lit, which keeps them readable in the evening and at night when a printed board depends on whatever light happens to fall on it. In a city where a meaningful share of commuting happens after dark, that difference matters.

The trade-off is that a screen has a native resolution and an aspect ratio, and artwork has to be built for it. We check every creative submission against the target screen's specification before go-live, so a file that would have displayed badly is caught while there is still time to fix it.

Where our Digital Billboard advertising sites are in Nigeria

We hold Digital Billboard positions in both Abuja and Lagos. The capital's screens sit on the administrative and commercial corridors of Garki, Wuse and the Federal Secretariat area. Lagos carries the larger network, spread across Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, Ikeja, the airport corridor and the Third Mainland Bridge approach.

Between them, the two cities cover the audiences most national campaigns are trying to reach: the corporate and financial centre of Lagos, its fast-growing Lekki corridor, the capital's administrative population, and the international arrivals flowing through Murtala Muhammed.

What a Digital Billboard campaign costs

Screens are sold by campaign, and two weeks is the minimum — the rates published on each listing are for that fortnight. A screen's rate reflects its position, the size of the audience it reaches and how much competition there is for the slot.

Running the same campaign across several screens is priced on the quote rather than off the individual rates. Because digital screens rotate between advertisers, availability moves; tell us your dates and we will tell you what is genuinely open.

Booking Digital Billboards through SOTOE

Send us the brief — what you are promoting, where, and roughly when. We respond with suitable screens, their rates and their availability. A deposit confirms the booking and holds the screens for your dates.

After the campaign you receive a proof-of-posting report showing your creative on each screen with the dates it ran. If a screen goes out of service mid-campaign we tell you straight away, and you choose between a comparable replacement position and a refund of the unused period.

DIGITAL BILLBOARD QUESTIONS

How digital screen advertising works with SOTOE.

How is Digital Billboard advertising different from a printed billboard?

The creative is digital, so it can be updated remotely while the campaign is running rather than being fixed for its whole duration. Screens are also lit, which keeps them legible after dark. The trade-off is that artwork must match the screen's resolution and aspect ratio, which we check before go-live.

Where are your Digital Billboards located in Nigeria?

In both Abuja and Lagos. Abuja covers Garki, Wuse and the Federal Secretariat corridor; Lagos covers Victoria Island, Ikoyi, Lekki, Ikeja, the airport corridor and the Third Mainland Bridge approach.

How much does Digital Billboard advertising cost in Nigeria?

Rates depend on the screen's position and audience. Every listing shows its two-week campaign rate, which is the minimum booking. Multi-screen campaigns are priced on the quote and confirmed in writing before payment.

What file formats do you accept for Digital Billboards?

MP4, GIF, JPEG and PNG are the formats we accept across the network. Sizes vary by screen, so check the listing or send us the creative and we will confirm it fits before go-live.

Can I change my creative once the campaign has started?

Because the screens are digital, changing creative mid-campaign is possible. Talk to us about what you need and we will confirm what is feasible for the specific screens you have booked.
